Plague Doctor Press is an independent comic publisher based in Bloomington, Indiana. We make unique, all-ages adventures with heart, humor and a touch of the strange, in a playful, cartoony style for kids and kids at heart.
Every book is a team effort with artists from around the world, and every one of them gets paid. No debate, no argument.

Mark Bell
Mark is a Canadian living in Bloomington, Indiana. He writes and letters every Plague Doctor Press book and has run Kickstarters for S.P.I.R.I.T. and Strange Ranger. He can't draw ("my mind and my hands are not connected that way"), so he teams up with artists he admires and makes sure they get paid.
Also writes Writing Comics, a series on the books that taught him the craft.
